Enter into a world where heroes and villains have dwelled since the birth of Rome. The meta-humans have made history, culture, and nations. The presence of tyrants meant heroes were standing against them in a seemingly endless war.
In modern times, superheroes and villains are a part of everyday life as law enforcement or celebrities. They are segregated into three groups: professionals who are corporate-owned, federals who are a part of police or military and government-owned, and vigilantes who lack oversight but are considered dangerous officially.
Omari's family, the Brewers, is among the 2% of humans on the planet with the gift. His parents were heroes, and like his siblings, Omari thought he was a hero too. Then Omari was faced with a harsh reality at a young age when he saw his Godmother die in action on TV. It changed his decision about entering the hero's life despite having valuable powers, enhancing or weakening living and nonliving objects. It was a versatile power, like his Godmother's, but was not meant for combat which killed her.
He decides to use his power differently by becoming a doctor. His powers are kept secret because both government and major corporations keep high-level healers like himself confidential.
Few Years Later…
Omari uses a new alias as Kintei Mathers. It's the last year of his residency, on his way to choosing his next assignment. His powers and medical knowledge enabled him to help patients recover from life-threatening diseases. He lives a peaceful life until that faithful day when the bank he was in was robbed.
As the weekend rolls about, Kintei was about to deposit his pay when a group of bank robbers, headed by Abigail Hannagan or Red Banshee, loots the bank and takes Kintei with them due to suspicion. It leads Omari to a life he has been avoiding for years. Gangsters, monsters, psychopaths, and a villainess enter his life.
